These capacitor-based DC UPS of the SSE series from FEAS, also called buffer modules, are suitable for bridging short-term power failures, peak loads or switching operations. The required energy is stored in internal super capacitors. Thus, these uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) are absolutely maintenance-free. A rechargeable battery is not installed. Fully encapsulated in an aluminium housing, the capacitor-based UPS (buffer modules) are characterised by vibration resistance and suitability for industrial and tropical environments.
Choose a buffer module that suits your application:
► Output voltage 12VDC, 24VDC, 30VDC, 48VDC, 60VDC or 70VDC
► with AC or DC input / with or without integrated power supply unit
► adjustable buffer voltage
► Boost function up to 200%
► with typical buffer times between 4s and 30min
► Remote monitoring (power failure, state of charge, temperature, overload)
► Installation on DIN rail or wall mounting
The DC UPS with capacitor (buffer module) is connected in parallel directly into the regulated DC voltage circuit at any point or it is used for selective protection of critical loads. As long as the DC power supply provides the voltage, this UPS (buffer module) stores energy in buffer capacitors (super capacitors or ultra capacitors). If the mains voltage fails, the UPS takes over the load current for a certain time. This allows, for example, processes to be terminated in a defined manner or process data to be saved.
First select the required output voltage of your buffer module (12VDC, 24VDC, 30VDC, 48VDC, 60VDC or 70VDC). You will get a list of all buffer modules from FEAS.
